Jaimee has been quite surprising over the past few weeks. Grandma from Germany visited for a couple of weeks and Jaimee decided it is time to let us in on her little secret on how much German she really knows. I continue to be amazed how big her vocabulary is. Needless to say I have doubled my efforts to read and speak to her in German. Unfortunately she continues to have trouble hearing as she has a lot of fluid build up in her inner ear. We are going to let the docs place tubes in her ears so the fluid can drain and jaimee can hear better again. On top of that we are starting speech therapy. Having conductive hearing loss for so long threw her back in speech development (articulation) a few months. However, with a little commitment this should be getting better soon.
